Fitness Update March 2014

Ok, it has been 2 months now that I started with my fitness and health project.

Those last few weeks, I have to admit, I was a bit lazy when it comes to this topic. I was focussing more on studying and working – so mainly sitting around in front of the computer. Also, I cooked and baked a lot and due to the awesome weather we had, we had two BBQs as well that were not helpful. To be honest, most of the time, I was doing this rather than working out:

Enjoying the Sun

Step Aerobic

In terms of sports, I am happy to announce that I started a Step Aerobic class last week and that the plan is to go there every Thursday for the following 9 weeks. After the first hour last week, I felt horrible and completely exhausted! It was absolutely mental but I felt extremely good as well afterwards. Extremely good about myself and my ability to survive this torture (yes, I am calling it torture as that is what it felt like while I was doing it…)

Swimming & Mountain Biking

I also wanna get back into swimming as I have not been there again since my last fitness recap a month ago… A mixture of swimming and aerobic should be fine. Alternatively, if the weather decides to get warmer again, I would love to take out my mountain bike and get into that again as it also gives me the opportunity to see the lovely Allgäu area and lets me take beautiful pictures on the go!

The Anti-Diet

A form of diet that I came across recently is the Anti-Diet that I read about on The Londoner Blog. That really sounds like something I can do! Once in a while, I wanna indulge in something but keeping track of reasonable portions and healthy food in between should work fine.


On a last note, I would love to do some yoga as well. With all the stuff going on in my life (work, freelancing, blogging, spanish, house renovations etc…), I feel that I need some sort of way to relax at least once a week! Thus, Yoga sounds like something to go for. I will have to look up certain classes and then decide where to go to but that is certainly on my list for the next month…
