High Five For Friday #25 – Let The Worldcup Begin…

This week is absolutely crazy (I know, I’ve mentioned this before but it really IS!!!)… But even though it was very stressful, it also had its highlights. Here are my five highs of the week:

High Five For Friday at Tea Time Blog

1. Summer Smoothie

Last Saturday, I made my first summer smoothies of the year and they were absolutely delicious. Find the recipe for my Peach and Berry Smoothie here in case you want to try it yourself.

2. A Massive BBQ Feast

Last Sunday, we organized a massive BBQ for everybody who has been helping us with the renovation of our house so far! Christian made smoked trout and it was absolutely fabulous!!! I am going to write a separate post about the BBQ shortly as it was so amazingly delicious!!!

3. Football Worldcup 2014

Last Monday was the first official game of team Germany during the world cup and it was a blast! We went to watch it together with friends and it was well worth it considering that we won 4:0 against Portugal!!! I am so incredibly proud of our team!!! As I love football, I have my special German outfit for watching their games… I am also really happy that Spain has already lost twice and is not going to enter the next round. In the last 6 years, we’ve always lost against Spain or Italy in the world cup or the European Championship so this means one strong competitor less for us…

4. Morning Glory

I am  still going out for morning runs and still enjoy it. What has started with only running for a minute before walking again has now resulted in me being able to run 5-6 minutes without stopping for walking!!! This must sound really funny to those who run constantly for 30-45 minutes or longer but for me this is a massive achievement and I am extremely proud!!! In the mornings, when the air is clear and sun just comes up, the light and the atmosphere are just amazing which causes me taking pictures along the way all the time!!!

5. Kitchen Tiles

The pavior has finally started working yesterday. The kitchen has already been tiled and I really like to see some results of our hard work!!! Not even 1 1/2 months to go until we have to move out of our current apartment and move into the new house!!! I am really excited about it!!!

    • Of course it works for breakfast, too! You do not taste the ice cream in the end. It is used much more to add some vanilla flavor! :-) I wish you a fabulous weekend, too!!!
