High Five For Friday #21 – First Days of Summer

Thank god it is Friday! After a marathon meeting yesterday at work, I am glad that it is finally weekend! Even though this means even more work on our house… But before going back to the construction side, here is my High Five For Friday post of week 21:

High Five For Friday at Tea Time Blog

1. Beautiful Summer Flowers in our Garden

High Five For Friday #21 - Beautiful Flowers

I LOVE the beautiful flowers that we have in our garden!!! It is so awesome that the garden is already done so that we only have to focus on renovating the inside of the house…

2. First Day of Summer

High Five For Friday #21 - Summer Feeling

Last Sunday, we had the first real summer day here in Germany! With almost 30°C, it was the hottest day of the year so far… We went out for a walk along the lake which was fantastic!!! It feels soooo good to being able to wear summer clothes again!

3. Flowery Wallpaper

High Five For Friday #21 - Flower Wallpaper

Behind one of the heaters, we found this very beautiful retro wallpaper. Unfortunately, there is not much left of it. I already tried to get it off the wall in one piece but so far, I have not been successful… any tips on how I could do that???

4. A Summer Dinner

High Five For Friday #21 - A Summer Dinner

On Wednesday, we had this yummy Gnocci with tomato-mozarella sauce! As it was still warm outside in the evening, we had dinner outside on our balcony! I love eating outside in the sun!!!

5. Greek Presents

High Five For Friday #21 - Greek sweets

Christian’s uncles have been to Corfu in Greece and brought these delicious greek sweets home for us. They are called “Angel’s Hair” and consist of a mixture of different sorts of nuts and a lot of honey. Extremely sweet but soooo delicious!!!

  1. Looks like you had a pretty good week! The big flower pompoms in your garden are stunning. The gnocchi look delish, did you made them yourself? Ho and you HAVE to keep a piece of that beautiful wallpaper. But unfortunately, I don’t have any tip to give you to remove it easily. Have a nice weekend! :)
