Today, I prepared breakfast for my boyfriend and his sisters! Online, I was looking for inspiration for a sweet treat that is not too filling. I found a great idea on The Daily Muse Blog that I had to try as well: Chocolate Mandarins.
- Chocolate coating
- Powdered sugar
To make them, first peel the mandarins. Make sure to peel them completely (including most of the white as it really does not taste good).
Then heat up the chocolate coating, dip the mandarins into the warm chocolate and place them on a baking tray for them to cool down.
When the chocolate coat is cold, sprinkle some powdered sugar on top of them.
See how easy it is? Just one more quick advice: If you prepare them the day before you want to serve them, cover them with wrapping film and put them in the fridge. This way, the mandarins do not dry out and they are still fresh and juicy the next morning.
