Recipe: Fall inspired healthy breakfast

Fall is here and even though I am more a summer kind of girl, there are some things about fall I like: Having time to sit under a warm blanket with a steaming cup of tea while reading a good book, enjoying the first cup of mulled wine and it is certainly not as cold and grey outside as it is during winter.

Most of the days start with this golden and beautiful fall sun that makes everything appear golden and shiny and puts everything in a warm color.

During summer, we usually try to stay healthy and eat low calorie sort of things in order to maintain our perfect summer body, don’t we? While this is easy during the summer months, it gets harder the colder it is outside. The reason for that are the thicker clothes we wear that cover up a lot.

My goal for this fall/winter is to maintain my summer body and thus, I invented a yummy fall inspired and healthy breakfast:

Apple, Plum, Cinnamon Muesli

Apple, Plum and Cinnamon Muesli

What you need:

  • 150g of yoghurt
  • 1 Apple
  • 3-4 Plums
  • 1 teaspoon of honey
  • Ground cinnamon
  • 4 tablespoons of muesli

How to make it?

  1. Pour the yoghurt into a bowl
  2. Cut the apples and plums into small pieces and also add them to the bowl
  3. Add the honey and some ground cinnamon and mix everything well until it is smooth
  4. Top everything with some muesli and you are ready to go!

Easy isn’t it? And it is soooo yummy! It gives you a lot of energy for the day!
