Recipe: Salmon with Rosemary Potatoes

Ingredients

For the Salmon

  • Salmon filets (one per person)
  • 1 lemon
  • Salt & pepper
  • Olive oil
  • optional: Dill
  • Tin foil

For the Rosemary Potatoes

  • Potatoes
  • Fresh rosemary
  • Salt & pepper
  • Garlic
  • Olive oil

Directions

Salmon

1. Place each piece of salmon in a square of tin foil and fold the edges of the foil so that it looks like a little box:

2. Pour olive oil on top of the salmon
3. Flavour it with salt and pepper and if you like with dill
4. In the end, place a few slices of lemon on top of the salmon before wrapping the tin foil to create a closed package

5. Place wrapped salmons in the pre-heated oven at 200°C for around 20 minutes

Rosemary Potatoes

1. Boil water in a pot
2. Place the unpeeled potatoes in the water and cook until half way soft
3. Take potatoes out of the water and cut in halts
4. Place them onto a metal plate covered with baking paper
5. Cover with olive oil and spice with salt, pepper and garlic
6. Finally, sprinkle fresh rosemary on top of them and bake the potatoes at 200°C until they are golden

Rosemary Potatoes

You can put both, the salmon and the potatoes into the oven together.

When the salmon is ready, place it on the plate  together with the potatoes and pour the lemon and olive oil mix on top of everything to add some fresh flavour.

Serve it with white wine.
