It is May ladies and gentleman!!! One of my most favorite months of the year? Why? Well, it means that it is definitely spring by now and we get warmer temperatures than in March/April. Also, it sometimes feels like summer already! On a different note, my hay fever is certainly gone by May so that I can truly enjoy nature again when I am outside!!!
This May is even better than last May as we are getting the keys for our house tomorrow and will start renovating this month!!! This is solo exciting! I am looking forward to sharing some pictures about the interiors of the house soon!
But lets get back to the High Five For Friday for this week:
1. Beautiful rainbow for my Tree Project
I was soooo happy that I could capture this moment for my Tree Project last Friday. Unfortunately, the pot with the gold at the end of the rainbow is yet to be found.
2. Watching out for Deer
My parents were here last weekend and we went for a little walk around the countryside surrounding our village. I had a lot of fun climbing up this deer watching house and make funny poses up there…
3. Homemade Ravioli
Last Sunday, I decided to try something new in the kitchen: Homemade ravioli. They came out great with their tomato and goat’s cheese filling. Come back on Sunday for the recipe which will be this week’s Sunday Recipe!
As part of my Fitness Project I started a new training this week: Metamorphosis by Tracey Anderson. I have done it twice so far and it was exhausting but also good. On Monday will be my official start and I can’t wait to give you more updates about the progress…
5. 1st of May
Yesterday was the 1st of May and traditionally, we do a walking or bike tour on that day. The whole week, it was raining and we actually thought we could forget our tour beforehand but then we were woken up by beautiful sunshine and clear sky – perfect for a bike tour. We stopped two times on our way to eat lunch and have a few glasses of wine on the way. Finally, we ended up at Chrisitan’s sister’s place for a BBQ to finish off the day. I was extremely exhausted from the day on the bike as it is really hilly around our area. Today, my whole body is aching once again but it was a great day nevertheless!
As I mentioned, before, this weekend, we will receive the keys to our house and I am extremely excited about it! We were waiting for this moment for soooo long and finally it is there! We will be spending the weekend planning our renovation and are going to buy some things we need for that at the DIY market (we will most likely become regular customers there…) I am hoping to being able to snap some great pictures of the interior to show it to you soon. Here is a little preview from the exterior:
