Before I started working on my photography skills this year, I mainly shot my pictures using the p-mode of my camera. Going forward, I’d like to shoot more pictures using the Av and Tv modes and ideally end up shooting everything in manual mode. There is still a long way to go but I love learning and can already see some progress.
Back in December last year, there was a beautiful Saturday morning and we wanted to get bread rolls from our local bakery. When I looked out of the window I noticed the beautiful sunshine and glamorous but still frosty atmosphere out there. Needless to say, I HAD to grab my camera and take it with me!
Here are some of the results of this days shooting in p-mode:
I know, the pictures are not at all bad but after learning more about the aperture mode and how to use it, I think that me and my camera could have done better if I had known what I know today! I would have been able to work out so much more detail in order to capture more of the beauty of the nature on this day.
I hope that the weather will get better the next few days so that I can take some more great pictures – Especially the weather in London has to be great this weekend as this is where my boyfriend and me are off to tomorrow! I can’t wait to see my friends again and indulge in some great british food (yes, british food can be delicious if you know where you have to go to), go up the Sharp Building and just enjoy the company of really great friends!
What are your plans for the weekend?
