Last weekend, we organized a big BBQ for all the people who have been helping us with the renovations of our new house so far. Christian came up with the brilliant idea of smoking a trout and I cannot tell you how delicious it was.
Smoked Trout with Filled Mushrooms and Garlic Bread
Together with the trout, Christian’s sister made yummy mushrooms filled with some cream cheese and herbs – an absolute fantastic combination!
She also prepared this great homemade garlic bread which tasted soooo yummy and worked perfectly well with the fish and vegetables:
Cheeseburgers with Ham and Portobello Mushrooms
Christian also found a great recipe in the Weber Burger BBQ Cookbook which I am going to share tomorrow as part of my Sunday Recipe Link-Up. Please stop by in case you want to find out how we made them:
I tried to eat it with my bare hands but they were simply too huge so I gave up after a while and used cutlery…
Sarah, Christian’s sister was very successful eating the whole thing without using cutlery:
The Man Behind The Grill
Christian usually is our grill master as it is his real passion! He totally enjoys himself while preparing all these yummy things for all of us! I have never tried grilling but am not sure if I could do it as could as he can. I prefer working in the kitchen…
We always use a Weber grill as they are simply the best ones for a BBQ! They are a bit more expensive than others but totally worth it. This one belongs to Chrisitan’s parents and it is very old but is still performing perfectly!
What is your most favorite dish for a BBQ?
Please do not forget to stop by tomorrow for my Sunday Recipe Link-Up. I’d love to read all your most favorite recipes of the week and I am going to share the burger recipe!
Have a lovely weekend!!!
