Ok, I am not going to deny it! I am seriously addicted to food! I love having a fresh and yummy dinner/lunch every single day! I love, swirling around in my kitchen and preparing my favorite recipes. So here comes my totally food obsessed review of the week:
1. The last day in South Tyrol
That week of holiday in South Tyrol passed as quickly as I can say the word holiday! This picture was taken on our last day when I was relaxing in the evening sun after a great hike on Hirzer Mountain that day. You can find travel reports on my travel blog already and there are going to be more for sure!
When we got back home last weekend, our home greeted us with spectacular weather! We knew that it would soon change into ugly fall/winter weather and that is why we used the warm and sunny Sunday to prepare the garden for the dark seasons. We harvested so many herbs that we are going to use during the winter! I love having herbs in the garden! Next year, I am planning on growing even more and various sorts of herbs!
3. Fruity Chorizo Salad
After harvesting that day, I made my all time favorite fruity chorizo salad. This salad is amazing! Especially on warm summer days!
4. The knitting continues
Yesterday night, we had another knitting class! This is how my hat looked when I arrived there! I am very impressed about the abilities of these knitting ladies who fixed all of my stupid mistakes!! I continued my knitting and can now see that it will be a had soon! I will give you an updated picture to demonstrate my progress soon!
5. The most delicious dinner of the week
After knitting class yesterday, I came home and Christian was waiting for me with this delicious meal: He made gnocchi with ham, tomatoes and basil in a creamy but not really fat sauce which is perfect for my diet plans! I am going to share the recipe next week with my Tuesday Recipe Link-Up. The best thing about it is that there is left-over which I am going to have today right before I am taking off to Vienna!
This weekend is going to take me to Vienna where I will spend two days with my Spanish friend from the UK. We did this before in April when we went to Prague for a little girls-weekend-get-away and I can’t wait to continue the fun! Traveling with a friend is so much different from traveling with the fiancé and both have their advantages! This is going to be awesome! As usual, follow my Instagram account for instant travel moments.
