Those of you who live in the US most likely know the traditional way of making French Toast. Today, I am showing you another way of having French Toast as part of my Sunday Recipe Link-Up:
Ingredients (serves 2):
- 4 slices of toast
- 50g (approx. 2 oz) of parmesan cheese
- 3 tablespoons of honey
- 2 stems of thyme
- Preheat the oven to the highest temperature. Spread some aluminum foil on a baking tray and place the toast slices on top of it. Put the baking tray into the oven for a few minutes.
- Turn the toast around and spread the sliced parmesan cheese gradually. Afterwards drop the honey on top of it and bake it again until the cheese has melted.
- Wash the thyme and sprinkle the little leaves on top of the melted cheese and honey.
- Serve hot.
Unfortunately, I did not have time to take pictures and that is why the Instagram snap from above is the only picture I have. We had this version of french toast for breakfast the other day and it was soooo yummy!!!
